On Monday, March 19, 2018, the Boston Bruins and the Columbus Blue Jackets played against each other at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. There was a lot of talent on the ice. The most notable player on the ice though was Boston Bruins player Ryan Donato who made his NHL debut.

Ryan Donato played college hockey at Harvard. A few days after his college hockey season ended, he found him self in a Boston Bruins jersey playing against the red hot Columbus Blue Jackets. In the second period, Ryan Donato scored his first ever NHL goal. A goal that will last a life time.

Ryan Donato did not look like a kid playing pickup hockey. He also did not look like someone who had played college hockey three nights before. He looked very mature. He looked like he fit in the NHL right away.

Going from college hockey to the NHL in just three nights is not easy. Donato made it look easy though. He played really well all game from puck drop to the end of the game.

What is next for this guy? No one knows. He still has a lot of NHL in front of him.
