The Liverpool Central School District holds biweekly meetings regarding student activities and district wide issues. These meetings get a bad rep for being boring and lengthy; however, as it turns out, these board meetings are not so boring.

This particular meeting began with the music of musicians from the middle school. Friends and family of he students being honored tonight enjoyed punch and cookies prior to the meeting. Once the meeting began the students whose artwork would be hung in the district hall of fame were recognized.

The students ranged from kindergarten to seniors.

Once the festivities were over the real meeting began.

The board was given a presentation on all of the fine arts given to the high school. For something that seems easily forgotten received it’s own celebratory meeting and slideshow.

After the presentation of the arts there was a presentation of the New Hope services. There have been concerns raised against their presentations given to health classes in the Liverpool district.

The Christian based group made their case and the board seemed concerned if their presentation is outdated, however the presentation was well appreciated and necessary.

So you see the board meetings are not so boring! The next meeting is Monday, February 8th, 2018.
