Have you been to Destiny USA recently? If not, a new store named Box Lunch opened early this fall, showcasing some of pop culture’s greatest accessories.

Box Lunch is a sister store of the older franchise known as Hot Topic: but holds a completely different environment with a more open floor layout. I had the chance to go on opening day to check out what all the buzz was about. They had a local DJ set up giving away prizes and I was lucky enough to win a Wonder Woman dinner set worth over $50.  As soon as we walked in the staff was extremely nice and greeted everybody who walked through the doors. One of the staff members said to me “We are essentially Hot Topic minus the gothic makeup”.

Their main goal for this corporation that sets them apart from Hot Topic and stores similar to them is that  for every $10 you spend, a meal is given to a person in need. Box Lunch works with Feeding America® and local food banks to produce to meals to those in our community. A company with such a great cause is sure to attract many customers.

Many of their retail items include collectives, apparel, keychains, purses, pins, backpacks and even crockpots from Harry Potter, Stars War, Disney, Studio Ghibli, Nickelodeon, Friends, etc. Box Lunch’s wide variety of pop culture products are a great way to provide for varying audiences.

Here is their website if you were interested in purchasing items and donating some meals!
